Brussels Livestock Show plans comeback in 2027
The Board of Directors of Brussels Livestock Show vzw recently decided to run a limited social media campaign in the context of Agribex 2025 regarding the absence of animals at Agribex. Due to the well-known circumstances (Animal Welfare legislation of the Brussels Region), no animals will be present at the 2025 edition.
With the help of a short video, we highlight the four pillars of Brussels Livestock Show: heritage, passion, future, and professionalism. We also express our desire and intention to be back in 2027. To this end, the upcoming General Meeting of the Brussels Livestock Show will discuss a resolution that will be submitted to our members/herd books for ratification in the coming weeks.
Brussels Livestock Show is sharing the video via its own Facebook page and calls on all supporters to share it widely. In this way, Brussels Livestock Show hopes to make its comeback by 2027, the next edition of AGRIBEX.
Brussels Livestock Show will be present at Agribex 2025 with #WeLoveLocal stands where producers/livestock farmers from across the country will promote their products to the public. Brussels Livestock Show itself will have a small information stand there.

AGRIBEX wants to encourage all women, whether they are directly involved in agriculture or in the supply sector. Women deserve all the support they can get in this area.

The agricultural sector is gearing up for a new highlight: AGRIBEX 2025, the 73rd edition of Belgium's largest trade fair for agriculture, livestock farming, horticulture, and green spaces. From December 3 to 7, Brussels Expo will once again transform into the meeting place for professionals, policymakers, and innovators. Under the central theme of "Inspire & Connect," organizer Fedagrim is continuing to build on a trade fair concept that informs, connects, and strengthens.

Intention to organize Brussels Livestock Show again in 2027
No animals at AGRIBEX this year, which means no Brussels Livestock Show with various competitions either. The reason for this is the political impasse in the Brussels-Capital Region, which means that no amendments can be made to the ordinance approved by the Brussels Parliament just before the 2024 elections.

Selection of Novelties 2025
During the evaluation of the files on October 3, the expert jury decided that one company would be awarded a Golden Hoof and two would receive a Silver Hoof. In the plant production category, five winners were awarded a Silver Ear. In the garden and green areas sector, one winner took home a Silver Boxwood.
