Fedagrim prepares for AGRIBEX 2025

Brussels, June 23, 2025 – Fedagrim is looking forward to the next edition of AGRIBEX, the international trade fair for agriculture, livestock, gardening, and green spaces. The fair will take place between December 3 and 7, as usual at Brussels Expo. Despite the fact that there will be no live animals at the fair this year, the fair organizer is optimistic. More than 250 exhibitors have registered for this 73rd edition of AGRIBEX, representing a gross exhibition area of around 75,000 m2. Fedagrim naturally regrets that the Brussels region has made it impossible to exhibit live animals. Nevertheless, AGRIBEX will go ahead. Fedagrim will occupy a total of eight halls. "The 250 exhibitors who have registered for this edition of AGRIBEX represent more than 600 brands," says Alain Vander Cruys, exhibition coordinator. "The fair once again covers the three major areas of activity: arable farming as the largest sub-sector, gardening with the most important brands, and livestock housing, which is well represented by the best-known players in the sector. AGRIBEX remains first and foremost a trade fair where visitors come several times to plan investments, explore options, and make contacts for the purchase of new machinery. It is and will remain a fair with an emphasis on innovation and technology."
A number of regular features of AGRIBEX will remain. For example, there will be theme islands, a Ladies' Day will be organized again, and of course there will be the Professional Day. How all this will work in practice is currently being worked out and will be communicated in good time. "What is certain is that we will once again be focusing on the nitrogen issue with the creation of a specific theme island," says Alain Vander Cruys. "In contrast to 2023, the market has picked up somewhat over the past year. There is more movement again. Farmers are planning investments after all and want to be well informed with a view to this. This is an important task for us as a federation, but also for AGRIBEX. That is why we have organized lectures and technology fairs in the run-up to AGRIBEX. Digitalization also remains an important theme for us and will therefore be featured at AGRIBEX in the form of a theme island for arable farming. The questions we want to answer are: what are the possibilities of data transmission and what else can be added to the already familiar task cards? And finally, our Workshop Live. The search for good technical personnel remains a point of attention. The sector is still struggling with shortages in this area, and our Workshop Live, in collaboration with Thomas More, is part of the solution. So we are sticking with this successful formula. AGRIBEX will take place from December 3 to 7 at Brussels Expo. Fedagrim expects around 70,000 to 75,000 visitors.
